The transition from being a vessel operator to a bunker trader is not a common one in our industry, but for me, it was a natural step. The thrill and enthusiasm of hitting the market to book bunkers for our vessels was always the highlight of my day as a vessel operator. This exhilarating experience solidified my passion for the industry and charted my career path. Five years later, I can confidently say that this was the right decision. My background as a vessel operator and bunker buyer has equipped me with a deep understanding of the operational aspects of bunkering, which is invaluable in making informed and strategic trading decisions.
